outstanding food and service. The selection of healthy food is excellent; you could designate dishes that are not only good for everyone to eat but "heart healthy," "diabetes friendly," etc.Â
WE went for the prime rib special and that was good, but most of the other dishes were bland. We had been there before for breakfast brunch, but never dinner. I think I will stick to just going to Kitchen Buffet Bistro for just brunch.Â
We went for the Prime Rib buffet. Although I am not a lover of buffets, the Prime Rib was very good. The other items on the hot buffet, chicken, fish, lamb shank prepared in/with sauces were all very bland, this was the overall feeling at the table, and there were 2 individuals who have a bland palate! the typical cardboard like yorkshire puddings at all buffets.The cold offerings were the usual,3 salads, green, ceasar and potato salad, peel and eat shrimp, (bland)smoked whitefish, some pickles and the like. The food here was great. The only downfall was the long line for the buffet. The salad bar would fill up a whole plate, so I would sit down. When I went back up to get the main courses, I'd have to wait at the very back of the line to get my food. It's a shame the salad bar and the main course dishes weren't separate for ease of access.Â
ordered 4 chicken gyozas they were so dry barely no sauce on them..never had an issue with it beforeÂ
Good but disappointing. We had our anniversary and not one person acknowledged our day even though we reserved a table and stated it was an anniversary.Â
We have been to the kitchen on several occasions and had a five star experience. Yesterday we brought friends as they had never been and us saying how wonderful it is. We waited over an hour and 15 minutes for food after several times asking our server where the food was. When it finally did arrive, all our meals were cold. Our guest ended up having someone bring her a baked potato that was warm as the one she received felt like it was out of the fridge. Food was not good. Not good variety like it used to be. Also went on prime rib night and it was extremely tough. Couldn’t even eat it. Only thing that was good was the pasta bar… but not worth the $50 a personÂ
