I hate to get told how much tip I have to give. I am tipping but I wont to have a choice how much and not get 18% up front on a $500 dollar bill.Â
Business response:
Hi Olaf, Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the food, service, and ambience during your visit. We understand your concern about the gratuity. As stated on our menu, an 18% gratuity is automatically applied to parties of eight or more. We apologize if this felt unexpected or impacted your experience. Your feedback is important to us, and we will work on communicating this policy more clearly. We hope to welcome you again soon.Â
Best food and best deal to the kitchen River CreeÂ
Business response:
Thank you for the review Maria. We look forward to seeing you soon. The kitchenÂ
First of all, I think we had the best server at River Cree. His name is Saman. He is so personable, friendly, courteous, and takes pride in being a server. He is on top of adding extra water. All meals are served as ordered, he jokes with the kids. He is kind and friendly to seniors, like I say he is perfect. The food as always is very good. I wonder if I’m able to ask for Samsam section every time I come to eat, I have another reservation next MondayÂ
The server was asked to bring soda water but forgot so had to take it off the bill at the end. A busboy was asked to bring some butter but forgot so had to ask another person to bring butter. Food was excellentÂ
Overall an enjoyable meal. Lots of crab legs available on Seafood Night. Hot dishes were mostly good . Only real disappointment were the desserts . Looked bought in , and needed changing .Â
